Match Preview
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) hosted Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final at the Parc des Princes, Wednesday (14/2/2021) in the 12:30 midnight Indian time. PSG has a greater chance of qualifying thanks to the victory they won at Bayern Munich in the first leg.

PSG won 3-2 over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at the Allianz Arena. Kylian Mbappe's quick goal in the third minute opened PSG's lead at the time.

After successfully doubling the lead to 2-0 through Marquinhos' goal, PSG was forced to draw 2-2 after Bayern Munich scored twice through Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Muller. However, Kylian Mbappe scored his second goal in the 68th minute and helped PSG win 3-2 at Bayern Munich headquarters.

The victory is clearly profitable for PSG. Having three away goals ahead of the match at the Parc des Princes gives Les Parisiens a very big chance. But, they must also be able to hold Bayern Munich from scoring in the second match.

A 2-0 victory alone could lead Bayern Munich to thwart PSG's hopes of reaching the semifinals. This means that Mauricio Pochettino's team must tighten the defense while still aiming for goals to add to the burden of Bayern chasing a deficit of only one goal at this time.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich came to Paris with not very good capital. After losing 2-3 to PSG at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich were also held to a 1-1 draw by Union Berlin in their last match in the Bundesliga.

Of course this will affect Manuel Neuer et al. However, Bayern Munich  must be able to forget these negative results in order to perform optimally and win in Paris.
